I think, I feel, and I interact with the world through my actions and reactions. However I will not affect change in myself or the world unless I act when needed.
I sometimes have problems with procrastination, and will overanalyze the work to be done as a way to forestall action on my part. To overcome this issue, I will separate the things to be done from the things I need to do now, and keep the daily “to do” list short and in writing, so that I can both focus my attention and have the psychological satisfaction of checking items off and seeing that I making progress.
To be a Stoic I must be engaged in the world, actively working to live a virtuous life according to my beliefs, values and objectives in the decisions I make every moment.
